Move of the Day: Clamshell with Mini Band
Targets: thighs, hips, butt
Time to take that clamshell to the next level!
1. Lie on your side in fetal position and rest on your elbow. Wrap the band above your knees.
2. Open and close your knees as if you were a talking clamshell. Keep your heels together at all times.
3. Squeeze your butt and hold for a sec when knees are apart to maximize the workout.
Try 30 each side for a crazy clamshell burn. If you don’t have a mini band, perform them without, but do higher reps. Have fun!
15 kettlebell swings, 15 burpees
14 kettlebell swings, 14 burpees
13 kettlebell swings, 13 burpees
2 kettlebell swings, 2 burpees
1 kettlebell swing, 1 burpee
This will kick your heart rate up like crazy, engage your core muscles, and melt off fat in the quickest time possible….
I am not an expert, and I am not a nutritionist. However, I am a FIRM BELIEVER in drinking and eating whatever you want in moderation. I had a successful weight loss and I am telling you now… I NEVER GAVE UP DRINKING ALCOHOL! I wanted to share this with you all because I get a lot of questions regarding drinking and staying thin and trust me YES YOU CAN! I love beer especially blue moon (the thick ones with the most calories) but hey why should I give up on things I love because some weight-loss expert one day said you can’t loose weight and drink? Heck yeah you can!
My thoughts on this:
First off I think you should enjoy what you love in life.I love beer, and love wine. I also enjoy liquor. Now here is the thing. Do I drink everyday? No I do not drink everyday.. if you are the type of person that likes to have 1 drink everyday well that’s fine but make a conscious choice on what you have with it or eat with it.
For example: Its a random Tuesday night and I go out to dinner and I am craving a beer, well if I want it I WILL have it.. but will I have 5? NO I wont! What I may do is have my beer and maybe skip out on a spinach dip appetizer, or maybe lay off too much carbs for dinner.. but lets say I want the appetizer? Who said I can’t have both? I can.. maybe I will eat a little of the appetizer or maybe drink half the beer and savor it.. its your choice .. you get the picture?
Pesto chicken with sautéed onions and spinach over whole wheat rotini and baked lemon, garlic and pepper asparagus !
Pesto ( store bought )
Boneless skinless chicken breast
Rotini whole wheat pasta
Fresh chopped garlic
Rub chicken with pesto and sear then bake at 350 for 20
Run garlic, lemon juice and pepper on asparagus and bake for 20!
Sauté onion and spinach and top over pasta!
Quick and easy delicious healthydinner!

hey everyone so today was suppose to be my back and & biceps with spinning, but I ran out of time for biceps so I only got a little lower back before my 12:15pm spin class!
Dead lifts with 50 pound bar 15 reps 5 sets
then went right to spin class for 45 minutes and burned 515 calories!

If a product has a bunch of ingredients that I can’t pronounce .. Well it’s simple then… I DO NOT eat it!
Read your labels, if it claims to be healthy on the front but then the label of the ingredients is never ending.. That should be your answer! Look for packaged food with simple and REAL ingredients.. You’d be surprised at what a small change like this can do for you!
